You can successfully record and retain five videos for free. Cancelling, failed recordings, interrupted recordings and reading without recording do not use a trial. A completed local video counts even if saving it to Photos fails. Saving or sharing the same video does not use another trial.

A monthly subscription or lifetime purchase enables further recordings. Existing scripts, videos, exports and sharing remain available. Paid recordings do not consume any unused trials. Monthly access lasts for the paid subscription period; lifetime access does not renew.

Open Settings → Recording and purchases → Restore purchases using the Apple Account originally used to buy. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple subscription settings. Buying lifetime access does not automatically cancel an existing subscription or refund any difference; cancel its renewal separately.

Choose English (US) or English (UK) in the Voice Follow settings. The selected language must support on-device recognition on your device. SmallTake does not fall back to cloud recognition. Recognition quality varies with speech, microphone and surroundings; mixed languages in one sentence are not guaranteed.

Log depends on the device and the selected camera format. It is available only when the current camera supports it. Beauty effects can be used with Log. Actual frame rate varies with hardware, temperature, camera and settings.

The mirror choice affects both the preview and the finished video. Some editing apps may handle the video track transform differently. Test a short recording in your intended editing workflow.

Keep local originals, save videos to Photos or share them. Deleted scripts can be restored from Recently Deleted. Script backups include scripts, drafts and recently deleted scripts, but not videos, settings or purchases. After an unexpected exit, the app attempts to recover completed video fragments; unwritten content may be lost. Back up before uninstalling.
